Izakaya Mita is celebrating summer with a dinner featuring the unique sake of a handful of iconoclastic breweries—many women-run— who went against the grain to create something delicious, one-of-a-kind, and also distinctly tied to time and place. After the success of their first sake dinner last month, Izakaya Mita owner, Helen Mita, has gone back to the kitchen to create a new tasting menu that perfectly complements the evening’s sake list selected with the guidance of Vine Connections’ National Sake Sales Manager, Monica Samuels.
